Coach Allen Wood says he is “super proud of my 12Ugirls travel softball team, the ‘Stealerz 06’ as well our organization ‘Stealerz Fastpitch.’ They took it upon themselves to have a collection on their own for the victims of the last hurricanes, as well as at their last tournament they staged a donation pickup. The results were awesome!”
Wood says the girls filled their trailer completely up and spent their last practice sorting and loading the items. Their plan was to deliver the items to a depot in Lynchburg for shipping.
