The All-Virginia Choir event was held from April 24–26 in downtown Richmond. Students
selected for this prestigious opportunity earned their spots through a successful audition process.
Throughout the weekend, they rehearsed with nationally renowned guest clinicians and capped
off the experience with a public performance featuring the music they prepared. In addition to
rehearsals and the final concert, students enjoyed a college choir performance, participated in a
share concert for one another, spent time socializing, and explored college music programs at a
college fair.
William Byrd is proud to recognize eight outstanding students who participated: four from
WBMS and four from WBHS. Representing the middle school were Marygann Jenkins, Hanna
Counts, Jayda Baldwin, and Gracie Chisom. The high school participants were Alexis Short,
Alyssa Adams, Brooke Hershel, and Connor Wheeler. Matt Bartley is the Choral Director for
both schools.

what about Jayda Baldwin? I see her on the front row, right side, 3rd from the left? she is a 6 grader and also went to Richmond and preformed. your article has no mention of her??
