Spencer Peters and Dawson Brinkley were chosen by their teachers and classmates at William
Byrd High School as Prom Queen and King for 2025. Members of the Prom Court are nominated
by the teachers at Byrd and are then voted on by the Senior Class.
Other members of the Prom Court were Hayden Eads, Luke Hemming, Jarrett Shephard,
Maileigh Culver, Jada Johnson and Emma Rupe.

This year’s prom was held at the Hotel Roanoke, facilitated by William Byrd instructor
Cherrybell Damasco-Farrington. The WBHS PTSO organized the After Prom event held at the
Green Ridge Recreation Center. After Prom activities included swimming, karaoke, pickleball,
basketball, an obstacle course, a pedestal joust, a craft room, snacks, and more.
