The Mount Pleasant Crush 13-and-Under softball team finished second in the Roanoke Youth Softball Association tournament last week. The tournament was held at Darrell Shell Park in south Roanoke County.

The Crush lost both games to the eventual champion, South County Red, in the double elimination tournament. Mount Pleasant lost to SC Red in the opener, but rallied back with wins over South County White and Craig County to make Friday’s championship game. South County Red then defeated Mount Pleasant to finish undefeated and win the tournament.

South County also won the 10-U and 17-U tournaments.
