Two William Byrd High School senior wrestlers announced their intention to continue their education and wrestle at the college level at a signing ceremony at the high school on May 8.
Xavier Preston signed to wrestle for Roanoke College; Dominic Pascoe signed with Averett University. Both of the wrestlers are valedictorians for the class of 2023.
Xavier has been a State Runner up twice and a State Champion as a senior.
Dominic placed for three years-being 6th, 4th, and 2nd his senior year.
Their wrestling coaches are Thomas Kessler, Ron Wood, and Michael Bryant.
