Congratulations to students in the William Byrd Choir who attended the Virginia Tech Honor
Choir on October 25 and 26 held on campus in Blacksburg.

Rehearsals began at 12:30 on Saturday. Students rehearsed five pieces of music for a concert,
one of which was a world premiere which they also performed with the VT choirs. The event
also included social time (pizza/pool/bowling), receiving information about the University, and
good bonding time with each other. The concert took place on Sunday at 2:00.
Students who participated included Aubrey Booze, Lily Duffy, Sofia Arthur, Owen Humphreys,
Nate Buck, Miley Moses, Olivia Bush, Brooke Herschel, Brody Parrish, Ava Lorton, and Kaelyn
Hilscher. Matt Bartley is their William Byrd Choral Director.
