The Vinton Police Department has recognized four policemen as Co-Officers of the Month for February 2018 – Sergeant Tim Lawless, Officer Kristopher Moore, Officer Danny Cox, and Officer Joshua Murray.
“During this time, every one of you contributed to the seizure of several distributions of heroin, methamphetamine, and marijuana– charges that resulted in the seizure of U.S. currency and vehicles,” said Vinton Police Chief Tom Foster. “The amount of work, shift-balance, and logistics that are required to operate an effective shift is an exceptional feature that requires a team understanding and total buy-in.”
As stated by a team member, “The amount of teamwork that was performed highlights how much cohesion a shift can have.”
According to Foster, this statement could not have been more accurate as, “Teamwork is essential to the success of our agency. By working together and sharing a common vision each can achieve more, thus making a team operate to its maximum potential.
“We congratulate each of you for the unwavering commitment to outstanding team performance,” Foster said.
