Vinton Baptist Church will have a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. on March 29. This will be a time to remember Jesus’ experience in the Upper Room with communion, his agonizing prayer at Gethsemane, Judas’ betrayal, Peter’s denial, and Jesus’ final words from the cross.
VBC invites the community for this moving experience as “we remember what Jesus did, reflect on our relationship with Christ, and prepare to celebrate our Risen Lord on Easter Sunday.”
The VBC Chancel Choir will present the Palm Sunday musical, “The Road to Calvary,” on Sunday, March 25 at 8:45 and 11 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
