The Mingle at the Market concert series sponsored by the Vinton Area Chamber of Commerce is already halfway through the season.
Coming up on Saturday, August 11, at the Vinton Farmers’ Market will be Uptown Band. The music goes from 7 p.m. until 10.
The concert series takes place on the second Saturday of each month from June through November and benefits a local charity. The proceeds from this month’s 50/50 raffle will go to the Vinton Luncheon Lions Club.
The cover charge is $6; children 12 and under are welcome and admitted free. Bring your own seating. Bring your ID. Don’t bring your pets.
Concessions for August feature Chick-fil-A and Giardino’s Pizza. Adult beverages will be available including craft beers.

The Vinton Farmers’ Market is located at 204 West Lee Avenue in downtown Vinton. Parking is available in nearby municipal lots, at Vinton Baptist Church, at the former Vinton Motors lot, and on the downtown streets.
