Taylor Jones of Vinton is one of 34 students from the Emory & Henry College School of Health Sciences Physician Assistant (PA) Studies Program to join the ranks of professionals following the 2018 annual White Coat Ceremony on May 25.
The ceremony commemorated the formal presentation of a white coat for PA students as they begin supervised practice in a clinical setting.
Students will attend year-round for 27 months and earn a master’s degree. Physician assistants are advanced practice health professionals who practice clinical medicine as members of a team.
