This week’s Spotlight is on Town of Vinton Public Works employee Tyler Beard. He has been working for the town for over six years since April 2016. His position is Equipment Operator 2.
Beard has a wife and four sons. He spends his spare time in Street Ministry, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“The Vinton Public Works Department touches the lives of thousands of people every day in a very professional manner,” says Mayor Brad Grose. “The dedicated individuals in the department enhance the quality of life in Vinton by maintaining all the systems that provide safety, convenience, recreation, and a pleasing appearance in our Town. We are truly blessed to have such skilled, devoted people in the Vinton Public Works Department.”
The Town of Vinton and the Vinton Messenger have united to “Spotlight the Town of Vinton Staff” during their birthday months. The Town is proud to have these employees like Tyler Beard, on staff and wants the community to see who is behind the scenes making the Town look great and operate efficiently.
