Roanoke County Public Schools will once again be live streaming graduation ceremonies online on Friday, June 8, from the Salem Civic Center for Northside, William Byrd, Cave Spring and Hidden Valley High Schools. The graduation schedule is as follows:
- Northside High School— 9 a.m.
- William Byrd High School— 11:30 a.m.
- Cave Spring High School— 2:30 p.m.
- Hidden Valley High School— 5: p.m.
Glenvar High School seniors will be graduating at Highlander Stadium behind the school at 9 a.m. unless there is a problem with inclement weather. In that case graduation will be moved to the Salem Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. that night with live streaming available.
The Graduation Live tradition began almost a decade ago in order to bring the graduation ceremonies to families and friends who do not live in the Roanoke Valley or even in the United States, including those who might be stationed abroad in the military.
