Shirley Rice, Carol Mattox, Barbara Howell and Allean Lilly

Thrasher’s yard sale was a success due to the hard work of the kitchen crew, Ann Coble, Barbara Howell, Carol Mattox, Shirley Rice, Ann Davis, Bootie, Jane Johnson, Donna Brogan, Allean Lilly, Carol Bown, Jim Bown, Mary Vass, Cody McCurry, Jennifer Rawlings and Gene Rawlings.

Gerri Richards was all smiles at the yard sale– her grandsons stopped by. Matt Berry, the one in the baseball cap, age 22, just completed four years in the Army and will be attending college at the University of Alaska in Juneau beginning in January 2018. He will be studying Environmental Studies and Geography. Christopher Berry is 20 and a sophomore at the University of Miami Ohio. His goal is to continue in law school. He would like to serve as an attorney for the UN. Both boys graduated from Kirkwood High School in St. Louis, Mo.

Mary Ann St.Clair’s beautiful daughter Alison dropped in. She now lives in Northern Virginia.

People came from all over and made for a great day. Thanks to all that donated “stuff” and those that helped in anyway, plus the shoppers. The money raised will go to the funds for Wednesday night dinners, which are free to everyone; however, donations are always accepted. So put it on your calendars to come at 5:30 on Wednesday nights and enjoy good food!
