Party in the Park features Legacy Motown Review on July 22

The EventZone will present the next Party in the Park concert at the Vinton Farmers’ Market on Saturday, July 22, featuring the Legacy Motown Review. The EventZone is a non-profit organization active in the valley for many years raising funds for other non-profits in the area. This year it is partnering with the Town of Vinton

The gates open at 6; music begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 10. This is a family-friendly event. Admission is $6; children 12 and under are free.

Fincastle Vineyards is the featured winery at this event. Adult beverages available with proof of ID (double ID for those under age 25) are Miller Lite, Samuel Adams Lager, Deschutes Mirror Pond, Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy, Twin Creeks “All About that Amber,” Mike’s Hard Lemonade varieties, and Sutter Home Wine selections.

Food vendors include Mike and the Girls, Blue Ridge Cider Donuts, Kettle Cooker Express, and Delicia’s Gourmet Ice.

The volunteer group featured for this Party in the Park is Alpha Delta Kappa, Lambda Chapter.

There are 700 parking spots near the Farmers’ Market within just a block or so. Check out the parking map at www.pitp.org.

No coolers or pets are permitted (except service dogs). Bring a lawn chair.

Upcoming Party in the Park events in Vinton include The Tams on July 28, Chairmen of the Board on August 25, Fuzzy Logic on September 22, Superhold on October 20, and Jim Quick and Coastline on October 27.
