Todd and Heather Oltmanns have invited the Town of Vinton to celebrate the end of chemo treatments for their son Elijah, who is a 10th grader at William Byrd High School.

He was diagnosed as an eighth grader in 2014 with T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma and just finished his last chemo treatment in February.

The Oltmanns say that the Vinton community and schools have embraced Elijah throughout his journey and they would like to thank the community at a party at the Vinton War Memorial on Sunday, March 19 from 2 to 5 p.m.

They would appreciate any contributions of food for the party from area businesses— email hdoltmanns@gmail.com or call 540-598-1528.
