ON PROPOSED ISSUANCE OF A BOND BY THE TOWN OF VINTON, VIRGINIA
The Council of the Town of Vinton, Virginia (the “Council”) will hold a public hearing on the proposed issuance of a bond by the Town of Vinton, Virginia (the “Town”) at one time or from time to time. The estimated maximum aggregate amount of the bond is $2,500,000. The bond proceeds are expected to be used to finance capital improvements to the Vinton War Memorial, grounds and infrastructure and costs of issuance of the bond. The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, and at which persons may appear and present their views on the proposed bond issue, will be held at 6:00 pm, prevailing local time, or as soon thereafter as the agenda permits, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, before Council in the Council Chambers of the Vinton Municipal Building, located at 311 South Pollard Street, Vinton, Virginia.
