The Vinton Area Swim Team, small in number but big of heart, competed in the annual Roanoke Valley Aquatic Association City-County Swim meet at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center last weekend. The Vinton team finished 13th among all pools and had some outstanding performances in the final meet of the season. The team champion was Hunting Hills, as expected. The Hound Dogs have won 12 of the past 14 RVAA championships and the last five in a row.
