The members of Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church and Wild Goose Christian Community are excited to be welcoming their new pastor, Jonathan Moelker. Moelker is a recent graduate of Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Virginia.

Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church in Vinton has a new pastor–Jonathan Moelker .

Jonathan Moelker is known as a passionate and energetic preacher and church leader. He grew up in Franklin, Tennessee, and first moved to Virginia to pursue his Master of Divinity and Master of Theology at Union Presbyterian Seminary at Richmond.

Most recently he served as the Assistant to the Pastor at New Hanover Presbyterian Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia. He performed various pastoral duties at NHPC and while the senior pastor was on sabbatical, he served as the primary worship leader and preacher. He loves relating Scripture to people’s everyday lives and spreading the joy of Christ throughout the community.

Moelker’s fiancée, Isabella Fagiani, is the associate pastor at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church in Roanoke. They are excited to begin their life together in ministry.

He is also a runner and hiker who loves to find the trail less traveled. Alongside his seminary degrees, Moelker has a BS in Industrial Engineering and enjoys tinkering around with machines in his free time.

Both Campbell Memorial and Wild Goose Christian Community are delighted to have called Moelker to this position, as much as he is delighted to have been called by them.  His ordination service is planned for Sunday, September 19, at Campbell and the community is warmly invited to participate.

Skip Hastings has been the interim pastor at Campbell Memorial for the past two years. He will be accepting another interim position.

Campbell Memorial is located at 1130 Hardy Road, Vinton and Wild Goose is located at 5646 Cloverdale Road, Roanoke.
