Bethany Beecher, who graduated from William Byrd High School on May 23, has announced that she’ll continue her education and play lacrosse at Emory & Henry College.
Bethany signed her letter of intent at the Byrd season ending banquet last week as family and teammates looked on.
Bethany was a captain of this year’s lacrosse team, president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a Valedictorian at William Byrd High School, a member of the 2023 Dogwood Queen Festival Court, and received the prestigious “Best All Around Female” Award for the WBHS Class of 2023.
