The Town of Vinton will be holding the annual Arbor Day celebration on Wednesday, April 18 at 11:30 a.m. at the Charles R. Hill Senior Center at the Vinton War Memorial complex. The public is invited to attend. Guests will include preschoolers from Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church and Smokey Bear. The ceremonial dogwood tree will be planted by the children attending.
