The William Byrd indoor track team will be at Liberty University for the second week in
a row this Saturday to run in the Liberty Flames High School Invitational in Lynchburg.
Byrd opened the indoor season at LU last weekend with the Liberty High School
Invitational. DeShawn Austin broke the school record in the 300m dash with a time of 35.74 and Grace Onwi won the 500m dash competition with a time of 1:22.72. Wyatte Bailey finished second in the pole vault with a height of 13’.
“The team ran well and had a lot of personal records set at the first meet of the season,”
said coach James Pannell.
