The William Byrd Middle School Band is proud to recognize Sophie Hoagland for making the District VI symphonic band this school year. According to WBMS Director of Bands, Denise Aspell, “This is the highest-level ensemble possible!”
The All District band performed an entire concert after 1.5 days of rehearsal at Blacksburg High School.
“Sophie is a very talented clarinetist, plays alto saxophone in jazz band, as well as performs locally in theater productions,” Aspell said. “Congratulations!”
