TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, the Town of Vinton, Virginia, hereby gives notice of publics hearing to be held by the Planning Commission on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., and by the Town Council on
Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., respectively. The public hearings will be held in
the Council Chambers at the Vinton Municipal Building, 311 South Pollard Street, Vinton,
Virginia. The Planning Commission will also hold a dinner work session prior to the public
hearing in the Council Chambers on November 3, 2022, beginning at 5:15 p.m.
The purpose of the public hearings is to receive comments concerning:
An Amendment to the Town of Vinton Comprehensive Plan to Adopt and Incorporate by
Reference the Town of Vinton Gap Summary – Route 24 Bike/Ped Plan, May 2022. Further information concerning these public hearings may be obtained in the Planning and Zoning Department located at 311 South Pollard Street, Vinton, VA 24179, (540) 983-0605, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Interested persons may be heard at the above public hearings.
