Bootie Chewning
Some feel things end after the parade, but always there’s a party going on at the War Memorial afterward, with refreshments and materials for all to make cards for the troops.
All ages take part in this activity – to say thank you to all that are serving and protecting our country and can’t be with loved ones at Christmas.
Always entertainment – this year Keith Woods at the piano playing all the Christmas songs, fantastic. They announce the winners in the parade of the floats and, of course, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. You are never too old to drop in and sit on Santa’s or Mrs. Claus’s lap. It is just a fun time, thanks to War Memorial, TOV, Vinton Chamber of Commerce for bringing joy to the Town of Vinton, plus all those that participated in anyway. Yes, ’tis the season!
