Ryan Buxton (right), who attends William Byrd and the RVGS, worked with Trey Orr from Cave Spring High School (left) and Luke Johnston (not shown) from WBHS/RVGS to win third place in the Environmental Sciences category for their work on using expanded graphite and iron to clean up oil spills.
