The Town of Vinton is seeking the public’s help in planning for the future.

A public open house is scheduled Monday, April 30 from 7-8:30 p.m. (with a brief presentation at 7:30 p.m.) at the Vinton War Memorial, 814 Washington Avenue.

The public may drop by any time during the open house to discuss the how Vinton can have better designed streets and public spaces and a more modern and user-friendly zoning ordinance.

During the open house-style meeting, town officials will share the Zoning and Subdivision Code Assessment and the Urban Design Audit and receive input from the public on ideas for potential changes to the Vinton Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances.
