Vinton Deputy Chief of Police Capt. Fabricio Drumond says the new drop-box for unwanted, unneeded prescription medications will be installed in the lower level of the Vinton Municipal Building near the entrance to the Vinton Police Department in the coming weeks and available to the public during normal office hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
