Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 15.2-1800 (B) et seq., of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, the Town Council of the Town of Vinton, Virginia, hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., or immediately thereafter, in the Council Chambers of the Vinton Municipal Building, 311 South Pollard Street, Vinton, Virginia.
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments concerning the proposed granting of a lease to The Vinton Historical Society of certain Town property located at 210 East Jackson Avenue, identified as 060.16-03-15.00-0000 (Vinton History Museum) in the Town of Vinton, Virginia, said lease to be for one (1) nine-month period with the option to renew said lease for no more than three (3) additional one-year renewal terms.
