The Mingle at the Market concert series sponsored by the Vinton Area Chamber of Commerce, with “the best bands, craft beer, food, and fun,” continues Saturday, September 9, featuring Seven Mile Ford.
Band members are Christy Bowles, David Bowles, David Breeden, David Wirtanen, and Matt Owens playing New Country and Rock. They are from Roanoke, but tour regionally in their 17+ years together. They have worked with some of Nashville’s greats, including Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Big & Rich, Sugarland, Marty Stuart, Joe Nichols, and Craig Morgan.
Mingle concerts are held from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the Vinton Farmers’ Market. The price of admission is $5. Children under the age of 12 may attend at no charge.
This month the GFWC Vinton Woman’s Club will be selling 50/50 tickets to benefit their numerous community causes.
Food concessions this Saturday will be provided by Mountain Grill with an adult beverage garden provided by Blue Ridge Beverage and Deschutes Brewery.
Those who attend need to bring a lawn chair for seating. No pets are allowed. ID is required.
The remainder of this season’s concert schedule includes performances by Hott Sauce on October 14 with Fuzzy Logic closing out the 2017 season on November 11.
