Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association (RRHBA) presented Bo Bohon of Bohon Construction his National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Life SPIKE award at the February 9 membership meeting. The company is headquartered in Vinton.
To achieve NAHB Life SPIKE, a member achieves 25 credits through membership recruitment and retention. Bo Bohon was recognized for achieving 26 credits.
Recruiting new members into RRHBA is an activity recognized and rewarded through NAHB SPIKE Club. Those who participate are called SPIKES, and they are among the most valued members of the Home Builders Association. SPIKES are the membership leaders of the home building industry, building the voice, power and influence on every level, in every state. SPIKES bring grassroots growth and stability to RRHBA. These efforts lead to the development of the general membership and leadership pipeline, keeping the face of the RRHBA true to that of the industry and the scope of interests RRHBA represents.
Bohon is the president of Bohon Construction and currently serves as a Builder Director on RRHBA Board. He is RRHBA Fall Home Show chairman and has been a member of RRHBA since 1984.
