The EventZone Party in the Park concert series continues its summer 2018 season on Friday, June 22 at the Vinton Farmers’ Market with a performance by the Legacy Motown Review from 6 to 10 p.m.
The Event Zone will also be honoring their three scholarship winners that evening: students Brook Ludy, Ashlyn Wolfe, and Isaiah Young.
The non-profit EventZone partners with the Town of Vinton for the Party in the Park concerts throughout the summer on the fourth Friday of each month as fundraising events for non-profit organizations. Proceeds from the June 22 concert benefit the Roanoke Valley SPCA.
Gates open for each event at 6 p.m. Admission is $6. Food and beverages are available. Vendors this time are Giardino Pizza, Kettle Cooker Express, Delicia’s Gourmet Ice, Fincastle Winery, and Blue Ridge Beverage.
These are family-friendly events with children under 12 admitted free. No coolers or pets except for service dogs are permitted. Bring your own seating.
Legacy Motown is followed by the Chairmen of the Board on July 27, Domino on August 24, and Too Much Sylvia on September 28.
