Vinton Police Officer Dustin Bray has been named Officer of the Month for April. The recognition was announced at the Vinton Town Council meeting on May 15.
“It is my pleasure to announce Officer Dustin Bray as the Officer of the Month for the month of April 2018,” said Vinton Police Chief Thomas Foster. “Over the last month, we have seen an increase in Officer Bray’s productivity.
“Our team prides itself in providing both excellent services to the community and by our high-performing workforce,” said Foster. “During the month of April, Officer Bray increased his enforcement efforts in traffic safety, investigations, and arrests by as much as 350 percent, in some areas.
“Regardless of the number, the high level of performance did not go unnoticed and is invaluable to both our agency and our town,” Foster said.
In commending Bray, Foster said, “We are honored to have you as a team member and look forward to seeing you progress in your law enforcement career.”
