The Lancerlot Sports Complex will be hosting a Zumbathon to benefit the Trettner family of Vinton who recently lost their home in a mudslide after torrential rains.
The Zumbathon is scheduled for Saturday, June 30, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $5 in advance or $10 at the door.
The Lancerlot invites everyone to join some of the best Zumba instructors in the Roanoke Valley and other parts of Virginia to “dance and help raise funds to help this family of three.”
If you are unable to attend, any donations will be greatly appreciated.
See Angela Beasley or the other Lancerlot instructors for tickets in advance. Your ticket is also your first entry for the numerous raffle items that will be given away during the event.
There are many vendors selling at the event as well.
You can also purchase tickets via https://www.paypal.me/cbdamasco with the note “Trettners event ticket.” Do not click on the box marked “For goods or services received.”
Lancerlot staff would like to collect other donations as well for the start of the new school year and other necessities for the family.
If you are unable to attend the event, the family has a GoFundMe page for donations as well. https://www.gofundme.com/vinton-mudslide-victims.
