When Alberto De Bobe gives a party, it is always fantastic.
He served his guests wine and dinner under the 17th century chandelier, with food from different countries– Italy, Spain, Greece, France, Russia and Brusela, with pastries from France and Spain. The stars of the evening were the lobster puff and Russian caviar.
Guests were Dr. Jeff and Susan Teass, Dr. Glenn and Robin Echols, Lorean Terry and the Ca Milo Sesto Garcia, Dr. Richard and Elena Ross, former Miss Virginia first place Lisa Moorman Sumpter, Marquesa De Avila, Ted Stafford, Dr. Andy and Sondra Slemp, Dr. Wills and wife Rose. Just sorry I could not make it– always a great party with awesome people! Thanks, Alberto! Thanks, too, for always helping the Vinton Chamber of Commerce!
Snow put a damper on another party at David and Dalh Brown’s Friday night. It was a family gathering; however, the folks from Richmond, Lynchburg and Covington could not get in and were missed. A few of us got there, greeted by the astronaut Liam Burch and want-to-be astronaut Justin Brown LOL. The food was delicious and the house beautifully decorated. Dalh always does a great job. We did celebrate Greg Chewning’s birthday. Maybe summer will be better LOL. Love the family. Happy New Year!
