The Elite Therapy and Performance Clinic has been open at Lake Drive Plaza in Vinton for
several months. On October 1, owners Dr. Brett Hall and Sean Rahall hosted their official
ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Vinton Area Chamber of Commerce. They were welcomed to
Vinton by Mayor Brad Grose and Vinton Area Chamber of Commerce Director Angie
Chewning.
Their goal is to provide “superior service, and patient-centered, community-based therapy.”
Hall is a physical therapist; Rahall is an occupational therapist and hand/neuro therapist. They
have added another employee since opening, Max Myers, a physical therapy assistant.
Their clinic offers a comprehensive range of services including pre/post operative orthopedic
rehabilitation, hand therapy and custom orthotics, musculoskeletal pain relief, spinal
manipulation, post-stroke and neuro rehab, strength training, balance training, vertigo treatment,
and fall prevention.
Dr. Hall is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and now lives in Vinton. He earned his
Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise from Liberty University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy
from South College in Knoxville, Tenn. His father is a William Byrd graduate and Dr. Hall
himself “married a William Byrd girl.” They have two children. He has also served as a
firefighter with Roanoke County Fire & Rescue.
Rahall is originally from Princeton, W.Va. He attended the University of North Carolina and
received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2010. He then graduated from the Jefferson College
of Health Sciences (now Radford Carilion) in 2013 with a Master of Science in Occupational
Therapy. He served in the United States Army Infantry as an Army Ranger during Operation
Iraqi Freedom. He comes from a military family– all combat veterans. He, his wife, and their
three sons live in Buchanan.
Myers, also from Princeton, W.Va., served in the Marine Corps. In 2022, he was a member of
the first cohort of students in the new Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Virginia Western
Community College and has earned his Associate Degree as a PTA. He also works at Berkshire
Health and Rehab.
Hall and Rahall say that they chose Vinton as the location of their first business because they
saw a need for physical and occupational therapy in Vinton and the surrounding Smith Mountain
Lake, Bedford, and Franklin County areas where there is less saturation of services than in the
rest of the valley. Their clients currently come from all across the area.
Their office at Lake Drive Plaza is next door to Marco’s Pizza and near Dunkin’ Donuts. There
is ample parking nearby with handicapped spots right by the front door.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The business is fully operational and in network with Medicare, Aetna, and other major
insurance carriers.
