The 29th William Byrd Baseball Alumni festivities will be held on Saturday May 5th at Terrier Field.
The Home Run derby is scheduled to begin at approximately 3:30 pm followed by a friendly softball game if enough participants wish to play. These contests will follow a Terrier baseball JV-Varsity doubleheader with Hidden Valley, with the jayvees beginning at 10 am and varsity around 12:30 pm.
The Derby winner will receive an individual plaque and his name will be added to a specially designed board that was unveiled last year that both recognizes past Home Run derby winners as well as deceased Terrier baseball players. That board is displayed beside the window on the concession stand.
On Sunday May 6th, the Terrier baseball boosters will have their annual spring golf tournament at 1:30 pm at Blue Hills. The tournament, a four man captain’s choice, is full with 29 foursomes.
