The Roanoke Valley Aquatic Association swim season is now underway. The Vinton Area Swim Team opened Monday with a meet at the Ashley Plantation.
The RVAA season consists of six Monday night meets, concluding with a City-County meet on July 20 and 21 at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. This year 14 teams are competing in the RVAA.
The Vinton team will be swimming at the Elks’ Club pool next Monday against Stonegate and the host team.
