The William Byrd lacrosse teams will play host to Blacksburg this Saturday in a couple makeup games at Patterson Stadium. The girls are scheduled to play at 9 am with the boys to follow.
The Terriers were at Christiansburg last Thursday with mixed results, as the girls won, 20-8, but the boys lost, 7-4.
The girls had one of their best games, allowing the Demons only 14 shots on goal while Byrd rained 39 shots on the Christiansburg goalie. Chloe Pascoe had a career high seven goals and three assists while Emmy Harris added six goals and two assists.
“We completely controlled the ball, keeping it on our attacking end most of the game,” said coach Dan Eberhardt.
The Byrd lacrosse teams will be off to Lynchburg next Tuesday to play a doubleheader with E.C. Glass.
