February is Heart Month and two people with great and kind hearts are celebrating 63 years together. Pat and Raymond Stanley were married February 15, 1954, in the Hollins Road Baptist Church parsonage with the Rev. L.C. Hall performing the ceremony. They had two sons, Randy (Snoopy) Stanley, and Glenn, their oldest, unfortunately passed away December 15. 2016 at the age of 61 of a heart attack, so sad. Not only do they have love for each other and family, they visit in nursing homes sharing their love. Pat has given “Footprints” to so many people. She gave me mine years ago and I don’t go out without mine. I know God is always with me. I thank Pat for that. May these two wonderful people have many more years together! Love you, Pat and Raymond!
Congrats and Happy Anniversary to Kevin and Kellie Goins, Ron and Faye Scott, 54 years. May you have many more together.

Get Well wishes and prayers go out to Amanda Stump McCoy (recouping after surgery), Crystal Barnard Lineburg (accident, elbow and knee, no fun), Marissa Brewer, still in a Tennessee hospital but hoping to get to move back this way soon. She is doing much better, even sitting up smiling. She is loved by so many and we just want her back; also prayers with the family, it has been so hard on them having her so far away.
Don’t forget– opening tomorrow night, “Little Women,” presented by the William Byrd Players Friday and Saturday, 7:00, and Sunday, 2:30. Support the arts in the schools! See you there!
