The Sassy Stitchers group, located on Pollard Street in Vinton, has sewn and donated over 1,000 quilts this year to the needy in various situations locally and nationally. Bonnie McKee (right) started the group several years ago, Mary Dalton joined when they were located at the Presbyterian Community Center.
