CHEERS The William Byrd competitive cheer team will compete in the state tournament this Saturday at Virginia Commonwealth University. Byrd goes as the Region D champion and will be a number one seed. The All-Blue Ridge District team was announced last week and the Terriers had three members, Courtney Palmer, Alyson Gilmer and Madelyn Brown.
