The Roanoke Valley Republican Women held their business meeting at the Vinton War Memorial on September 19 along with an ice cream social. Members of the William Byrd Elephant Club also attended including (left to right) Abby Spotswood, Ana Boush, and Kayland Bond, being served by Mildred Scott, who organized the event.
